Light Computers

I've been catching up on the articles in our required blogs and I came across this one in Slashdot about a computer that would run off of light energy instead of electrical. If they could actually make this computer that would be really cool. It would be a great way to save on the electric bill but it would also have huge implications in terms of energy conservation and alternative forms. It's just amazing how far technology has gotten us and there is still so much more out there.
